Chapter 8- Requisition Preparation

On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the highest score, how would you rate your organization in the following areas:

  • The job descriptions accurately reflect the skills required to be considered for the role.
  • The interview team’s awareness and agreement on what those qualifications are.
  • The interview team’s ability to consistently recognize candidates who possess those qualifications.
  • The correlation of the level of the interview team and the value the position provides.

In addition, has your company looked at moving from headcount number reporting to salary expense reporting? How easy is it for a manager to make those decisions?  Are there guidelines in place to assist in the decision making process?
